What kinds of clients do you see?
I work with people from all walks of life: all races, religions, genders and orientations. My specialty, however is working with people dealing with issues surrounding reproduction and becoming parents: pregnancy, postpartum, pregnancy loss, infertility, surrogacy and adoption. I have extensive experience and training working with people struggling in these areas and my practice is in high demand. For this reason, I do only take clients who are in need of specialized treatment in these areas.
Do you work with couples/families/children?
My area of expertise brings primarily individual clients to me. I do work with couples who are grieving a loss or struggling with other issues related to pregnancy, postpartum or infertility. I do not provide relationship counseling or work directly with families or children. These are all separate areas of expertise and I can provide resources for therapists who specialize with these groups.
Are you accepting new clients?
I accept new clients as my schedule allows. If you are interested in working with me, please contact me to ask about my next available session.
How long are sessions?
My sessions are one hour long, although I can do shorter sessions if requested.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, I currently accept Optum, United Behavioral Health, MHN, and Health Net. Most PPO plans also offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network providers. To check your coverage, call the "Behavioral Health" number on your insurance card to ask whether I'm in-network, or if out-of-network reimbursement is available.
How much do you charge if I do not have behavioral health insurance?
My fee is $150 for a 60 minute session. I accept credit cards and FSA cards.
